WORLD-CLASS TRAINING LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM 1:1 COACHING

User settings in Avolites allow for extensive customization of the console’s behavior, interface, and controls. These settings help tailor the system to match specific user preferences, optimize workflow, and even create separate profiles for different team members.

Creating and Managing User Profiles

Avolites allows multiple user profiles to be created, each with unique settings. This is particularly useful for:

Personalized Programming Preferences – Adjusting settings based on individual workflow needs.

Operator vs. Programmer Modes – Disabling certain functions (e.g., the Grand Master Fader) to prevent accidental changes.

Importing and Exporting Profiles – Profiles can be transferred between consoles using a USB drive.

Each user profile can be renamed and customized without affecting others, ensuring a smooth transition between different operators.

Key User Settings for Efficiency

Several settings can be adjusted to tailor usability and avoid common issues. Some of the common settings we change are:

External Display Mode – Enables multiple screens for better workspace organization.

Full Screen Mode – Locks the software in full-screen to prevent accidental app switching or pop-ups on PC Suite.

Disable Grand Master Fader – Prevents accidental dimming of fixtures.

Show DMX Addresses in Fixture View – Displays DMX addresses directly in the fixture window for quick reference.

Clear Programmer Behavior – By default, clearing a fixture keeps its attributes. Enabling “Release to Playback Values” resets fixtures to their home position when cleared.

Press and Hold Fan Mode – Keeps fanning enabled only while the fan button is held, preventing unintentional fixture spreads.
