WORLD-CLASS TRAINING LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM 1:1 COACHING
Audio system configuration and management takes on new dimensions with Soundscape, offering immersive audio capabilities alongside traditional PA functions. From setting up object-based mixing to configuring room acoustics and spatial audio controls, Soundscape integrates seamlessly with d&b's R1 software platform to create dynamic, engaging audio experiences perfect for worship environments.

Initial System Configuration

ArrayCalc configurations transfer smoothly into R1, automatically generating control groups and remote views based on your system design. The platform performs comprehensive system checks, including impedance testing and array verification, ensuring proper speaker connections and configurations. Pink noise routing capabilities allow for complete signal chain verification from source through amplification to speakers.

Object-Based Mixing Setup

Sound objects can be configured for each input channel, enabling precise control over spatial positioning and spread. Each object offers adjustable spread control ranging from focused to wide dispersion, with customizable delay modes for different mixing applications. The positioning interface provides intuitive control over object placement, perfect for creating immersive worship experiences or positioning speaking voices naturally in the space.

Advanced Room Acoustics

The N-Space feature provides sophisticated room acoustic emulation with 144 unique reverberations mapped in three dimensions. Preset acoustic environments range from intimate small theaters to grand cathedrals, with adjustable pre-delay and rear level controls. This allows worship teams to adapt the acoustic environment to match different styles of music or speaking applications, enhancing the overall worship experience through natural-sounding spatial enhancement.

System Integration

Beyond basic setup, Soundscape integrates with various third-party control systems like Stream Deck, QAV, Reaper, and Digico consoles. Matrix routing capabilities allow for traditional signal distribution alongside object-based mixing, providing flexibility for different production needs such as broadcast feeds or lobby zones.
