- Remember, no drum mix is complete until it’s in context of the rest of the band. The drums have a relationship with the rest of the band too!
- Learn what you console has to offer before reaching for external processing. Often what’s available, with a bit of tweaking, will get you extremely far!
- Remember to be flexible! What worked last week, may not be working this week. Mixing is a verb, not a static position!
