With so many fixtures available in today’s market, it can be difficult to determine if every fixture is a “Staple” or a “Gimmick” in a lighting setup. Daniel and the DC Pro team talk through some of their "Staples" in a lighting rig, and a few “Gimmicks” to avoid depending on your scenario. They also discuss where to spend your ministry dollars on light fixtures in general.

- Remember that even the simplest of lighting rigs can add numerous layers and depth to a worship set. Don’t feel the pressure to buy new and flashy kit if the one you have gets the job done well!
- Decide what your staples are, and build your budget around that. If there is room left over for more specialty fixtures in the end that’s great! If not however, it is 100% just fine to use your staples!
