Recording Process for Podcasts

Jeff talks through the recording process for a podcast and how he records the MxU Podcast every week!

Key Points:
  • If you’re recording your podcast over a video call, try to get each guest on your podcast to record their own microphone locally.
  • Regardless of your recording device, be sure that all guests are using the same bit depth and sample rate so that all of the records will sync up in post.
  • Try to keep you level peaks just at or below -6dB.
