101 Video

Description

There are various types of media that graphics operators may encounter during a church service. Understanding these different media elements ensures seamless execution during live production.

Blank Slides – Used to clear the screen when no content is needed.

Plain Text – Simple lyrics or announcements without backgrounds.

Motion Backgrounds – Visual elements behind lyrics that add depth and engagement.

Full-Screen Graphics – Static images for announcements, welcomes, or event details.

Videos – Commonly used for countdowns, bumpers, and promotional content.

Lower Thirds – Overlays for names, scripture, or key information at the bottom of the screen.

Side Thirds (Slabs) – Graphics positioned on the left or right third of the screen while a speaker remains visible.

Utility Slides – Internal notes displayed on stage monitors to assist worship leaders and speakers.

Knowing these media types helps graphics operators respond quickly to production cues and ensures a smooth worship experience.
