- Try Phil’s 6/3 rule: 63Hz and 6.3KHz.
- Don’t be afraid to take a setting to the extreme, it’s helpful to know what a setting is doing and what it sounds like.
- Save time by copying settings from similar sized drum mics, and pasting them to the next. It might not work perfectly, but it’s saved you a few steps.
