Key Points:

Any mic, whether it is an sm58 or an ICON Pro, will sound better for the listener than the microphone inside of your headphones. Try to get the best sound quality possible with the tools you have!
Not all USB microphones are bad. Just be sure to do your homework and listen to some examples of how they each sound. If it sounds good, it is good!
